Lydia, high five to you! They're both so beautiful. Thanks for the link to your TTT :-)

Molly, well, of the classics on this list, The Blue Castle and A Room with a View are the most approachable for someone who doesn't read many classics, so you might like them?
DeleteThanks for the link to your TTT :-)
Such an interesting selection this week, love seeing Jane Austen featured. https://readwithstefani.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stefani! Jane Austen is definitely a perfect fit for a lot of things around Valentine's Day :-) In fact, my husband took me to see the 2005 Pride and Prejudice at the movie theater last night!
DeleteThanks for the link to your TTT :-)
I need to read the Blue Castle. I bought it at a used bookstore last year on a whim because I have heard great things about it...but haven't read it yet.
ReplyDeleteCindy, oh my goodness, yes! Read The Blue Castle!!! It's delicious.
DeleteI have only read four of them, and from the four, my favorite is between Persuasion and Guernsey - maybe a little more towards Persuasion. But definitely not Jane Eyre.
ReplyDeleteYou remind me that I need to pick up A Room with a View from where I left it last year!
Fanda, well, four is a goodly percentage! I'm thinking I'll probably reread A Room with a View this spring -- it's been a couple years.
DeleteGuernsey is one of the best books I've read in years.
ReplyDeleteIvy Miranda, isn't it heartwarming and uplifting and huggable?!?
DeleteI love so many of these! 1, 3, 4, 5, and 9. I still want to read Speak Easy, Speak Love.
ReplyDeleteRuth, I'm not surprised you love a lot of these :-D Speak Easy, Speak Love is a really good summertime read, if that helps...
DeleteI love JANE EYRE and P&P. I've heard several bloggers rave about THE BLUE CASTLE, but I still haven't read it. I think I need to!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Susan, I read The Blue Castle for the first time because a bunch of blogging friends basically badgered me into it, and I am sooooo glad they did! It's such a delight.
DeleteMy favorite from your list is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society! An interesting, quick read!
