"The Cove" by Ron Rash

My review of Ron Rash's novel The Cove is now up on the Novel Book Ratings blog -- click here to go directly to the review.  I'm so excited to be reviewing for them again, after taking a couple of months off for the holidays!  It's always an honor when someone else asks you to write a guest post for their blog, isn't it?  This is my seventh guest review for them, and they say they'd like more.

I really love how useful the Novel Book Ratings site is.  If you haven't heard of it, it's a site where members (it's free to join) can rate books on how well they're written and also what kinds of potentially objectionable content they have.  Whether you're a member or not, you can look up a book if you're wondering whether it will be something you'd like to read -- if it's one someone has reviewed, you can see what they say it contains.  Every time I read a book, I check to see if it's in their database, and if it's not, I add it and review it.  (I write my reviews for both the database and blog under the name Hamlette, as you might have guessed.)

If This was a Movie, I Would Rate it:  PG-13 for non-explicit sexual situations and alcohol use.  Also contains a few swear words.
