That's my list for this week! Have you read anything by these authors? Do any of these titles catch your eye too? Did you do a Top Ten Tuesday post this week? Let me know in the comments!

I've read Passing and Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter. I want to read Three Men in a Boat, because Connie Willis writes about that book in To Say Nothing of the Dog.
ReplyDeleteCurlyGeek, nice! Don't you love it when a book leads you to another book? Such lovely rabbit holes to fall down.
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these authors except for Jerome K. Jerome, but I love The Count of Monte Cristo and might look into the retelling!
ReplyDeleteHaze, glad I could bring these to your attention, then! The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my top favorite books of all time :-)
DeleteI don't think I've heard of any of these. Hope you enjoy them all! It's always the best to discover a new author. :) Happy reading and thanks for visiting my list today.
ReplyDeleteRissi -- glad I could bring them to your attention, then :-) Of course, I don't know if I'll love any of these, but there's always that hope!
DeleteThe Weight of Air is a great one! I really liked the way it flipped some trope expectations, especially concerning the gender roles of the hero and heroine. :)
ReplyDeleteCourtney, ooh, that sounds very promising!
DeleteThe only books I've read on your list: Passing and Three Men in a Boat are both revealing about a by-gone era. I try to read classics to not only knock them off my list but to inform me of what life was like.
ReplyDeleteAnne, that's a huge reason why I love to read classics. They teach us so much!
DeleteI have read several of these: Boundless by Amy Caldwell and Parnassus on Wheels by Christopher Morley-I liked them. I loved The Weight of Air, it is so good!!
