Top Ten Tuesday: An Addition Problem

I think we can all agree that the biggest problem with being a book addict is the endless list of books we want to read, but which haven't crossed our paths yet for one reason or another.  Today's prompt from That Artsy Reader Girl asks us to list the ten books we've added to our TBR list most recently.  So I've pulled ten books from my Goodreads, Amazon, library, and Instagram accounts that I've added to my wishlists over the past month or so.  Here they be.

Have you read any of these?  What have you added to your TBR list lately?

  1. Lovely list! I'll check these books on Goodreads.
    Have fun reading them!

  2. Jean @ Howling Frog mentioned the Shirley Letters to me. I'm adding both your first and last books to my wishlist.

    1. Ruth, it was her comment that put The Shirley Letters on my list, and it was someone's comment on your review of Letters of a Woman Homesteader that put Susanne K. George's book on my list!

  3. Great list! You have an addition problem and I changed tweaked the topic for the week. Rebels, aren't we? ;-)

  4. I couldn't really do this one, I can't really track what I've added, since I sort mine by categories on my library list, and the ones I know are mostly self-help sort of books which don't really make for a super-inspiring TTT list.

I'll be interested to read your reviews on these though, they look interesting (this is how I get books to put on my TBR, but since I'm pulling from all over the place, I don't remember when I put them on).

    1. Livia, that's okay. I don't have ideas for like half the prompts, and then another quarter of the time I just forget about it, which is why I participate like once a month if I'm lucky.

I totally got all of these from reading book blogs except Miss Kopp Just Won't Quit, which is here because I like the series, which I *think* I discovered through a magazine review of the first book, not thru book blogs.

  5. Ann Rinaldi! Love her. :) (I didn't like Juliet's Moon very much, though, so I'd be interested to see what you think of it.)

    1. Olivia, I've never read anything by Ann Rinaldi, but I love historical fiction and books for young readers, so I added a bunch of her books to my TBR.

My library has most of her books, so I'll read Juliet's Moon eventually, I expect!

  6. The Essays of Elia is on my list too. And now that I have read this post I have added The Shirley Letters and German Voices. Thank you...I think. I needed more books for my list, right? Please, just agree with me.

    1. Jennifer, The Essays of Elia is a little bit of a cheat because I've meant to read it ever since the first time I read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, but I keep forgetting to add it to any of my actual lists. And then I finally did a week or so ago.

You definitely needed more books for your list.

    1. Jessica, another vote for Ann Rinaldi! It looks like only a few of her books were published when I was reading all the young-person historical fiction my library could hold, so I'm guessing I just missed out on her due to bad timing. Definitely looking forward to trying out her books!

  8. What an excellent list. I'm intrigued by the German Voices book as I took several classes on Hitler's Germany in college.

    1. Thanks, Brandy! How cool you got to study that in college -- I had a couple of general history classes that included WWII, but no in-depth ones were offered, or I would've taken them in a heartbeat. That era fascinates me.

  9. I too always have too many books to read! A few books i lately added to my TBR Live Without You by Sarah Grace Grzy Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skye and London in the Dark by Victoria Lynn.
