    3. Wasn't Damon Runyon the guy who wrote the book that "Guys and Dolls" is based on?
"The oldest established permanent floating CRAP GAME in New Yoooooork . . ."

    4. "Where's the action? Where's the game?" "Gotta have a game or we'll die from sha-a-a-a-a-a-a-me."

Yup, that's based on "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown." Other movies that are based on his stories include "The Lemon Drop Kid" and "Little Miss Marker."

  5. Yay! I believe this is only the second giveaway I've ever won (out of the dozens I've entered), so this made my day, especially since Where Eagles Dare was the one I most wanted to win. :) Thank you for hosting this!

    4. Well, I think we all had a lot of fun, so yeah, wouldn't it be a neat annual event? Every June? Either way, I'm sure I'll be hosting another giveaway next year.

    5. I'll do it, too! Annually would be great! Although, now that I think about it, I may be moving next June...so we'll see. But thank you for the giveaway; it was so fun! And my prize will make a wonderful new book journal--mine's almost full, yay!
